The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has announced the convocation of a session of its Executive Committee. The meeting will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026, in Yaounde, according to an official statement released by the governing body of Cameroonian football.
The agenda for this session was not specified in the statement. However, such meetings are generally dedicated to examining current issues related to the management of Cameroonian football, including national competitions, national teams, and financial and administrative matters.
This convocation comes as FECAFOOT is involved in several football development projects in Cameroon. Recently, the new FECAFOOT headquarters were inaugurated in Yaounde in the presence of FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Cameroonian Prime Minister Joseph Ngute. This new complex aims to provide FECAFOOT with the necessary infrastructure to further develop and professionalize football in the country.
In addition, FECAFOOT recently announced that the Cameroon national team would not participate in any training camps during the FIFA window in June 2026. This decision was made to allow international players to benefit from a rest period after a demanding season with their respective clubs.
The conclusions of this Executive Committee session will be communicated later by FECAFOOT. The decisions taken could have a significant impact on the direction and development of Cameroonian football in the coming months.
FECAFOOT has been affiliated with FIFA since 1962 and with CAF since 1963.
