Cameroonian defender Nouhou Tolo delivered a solid performance in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16, as Seattle Sounders defeated Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0. The match took place at BC Place in Vancouver on March 12, 2026.
Paul Arriola scored twice for Seattle, once just before halftime in the 45th minute and again in the 58th minute. Paul Rothrock sealed the victory with a third goal in the 70th minute. The win gives Seattle a significant advantage heading into the second leg.

This victory marks Vancouver's first loss in 2026, following a five-match undefeated streak (4 wins, 1 draw). Seattle will face the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS on Sunday, March 15.
