Nestlé Cameroon received several awards in 2025 for its commitment to the environment and its relationship with consumers. These awards highlight the company's efforts to integrate sustainability into its operations and maintain an open dialogue with its customers.

The Award for Outstanding Environmental Commitment was presented at the MINEPDED JME Awards 2025 in the Littoral region. This recognition, organized by the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED), highlights Nestlé's ongoing efforts in environmental compliance, sustainable innovation and commitment to communities and the planet. The ceremony took place on June 5, on the sidelines of World Environment Day, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aboubakary Haman Tchiouto, representing the Governor.

According to Mr. Yougouda Edouard, Regional Delegate of MINEPDED, Nestlé Cameroon demonstrates that "environmental sustainability is not a secondary choice, but a strategic lever for building a modern, competitive industry that respects future generations". The Nestlé factory in Bonabéri illustrates this commitment, as no industrial waste is sent to the municipal landfill. Approved service providers ensure the collection and recovery of this waste. In addition, a large proportion of the plastic packaging of manufactured products are designed to be recyclable.

At the same time, Nestlé Cameroon received the 2025 Consumer Listening Award at the FOCACO Awards, organized by the Cameroon Consumers' Foundation. This award recognizes Nestlé's commitment to building a relationship of trust with its consumers, based on active listening and taking their expectations into account.

Aboubacar Coulibaly, Managing Director of Nestlé Cameroon, said: "This award is a strong recognition of the trust that our consumers place in us every day. It encourages us to continue to listen to their expectations and to spare no effort to provide them with safe and quality nutritional solutions". The company has set up a toll-free number (8545) and a WhatsApp channel (+237 650 75 86 25) to facilitate dialogue with consumers.

For more than four decades, Nestlé Cameroon has been committed to sustainability, improving the nutritional value of its products, reducing its environmental footprint and promoting responsible sourcing. In 2024, the company collected and recycled 450 tons of waste per year, for an investment of 30 million FCFA.

Nestlé Cameroon's commitment to its consumers is reflected in a structured complaint management system, ensuring rigorous handling of concerns and end-to-end monitoring.
